What an amazing first year it’s been.
Where do I even start to try and explain how it feels to be able to sit here and describe Hampton Oak’s first year as an overwhelming success?
I am beyond proud, and grateful, of what has been achieved this last year, it has been bigger and better than I could have ever wished for.
We have exchanged legal agreements on 3 amazing sites which we will be promoting and obtaining planning consent on. We are finger-bitingly close to completing the unconditional purchase of another site. And finally we are in legals, having agreed terms, on 2 other fantastic sites.
If anyone would have asked me a year ago, did I think we would have 6 sites agreed/secured by the end of year 1, I would have probably laughed saying I could only wish for such a thing!
When we launched last year, I explained that Hampton Oak is here to provide a different offering to companies, developers and landowners. We are here to solve the problems other people can’t, and it’s proven to have created some incredible opportunities along the way. If there is a piece of land to unlock, or a landowner filled with mis-trust of developers, or a piece of work required that just can’t fit onto the jobs list – Hampton Oak can help, support and deliver.

I have always loved the symbol that an oak tree represents, from such a tiny acorn grows a beautiful tree full of strength, endurance and stature. It shows what is possible no matter how little you are to start. If Hampton Oak’s first year was the planting of the acorn, then I am very excited for the next few years as we continue to grow into a reliable, strong and beautiful oak tree.
I would like to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported me this last year, and before that, giving me the confidence to launch Hampton Oak and make it the success it is today. I certainly could never have done this on my own, I am eternally grateful.
